Wednesday 13th November at 7.30pm:-
Rosemary Steer speaks on “Service and Sacrifice”
A talk about the many local men who took part in WW1 and the huge sacrifices that were made.
Thursday 21st November at 7.00pm:-
We now have some table tennis tables (very smart!), courtesy of South Norfolk District Council and Brockdish Parish Council. All we need now is interested people. Come to a meeting to have your say and to form a group. We aim for fun and a little bit of exercise!
Sunday 24th November at 2.30pm:-
Stuart Bowell on “Round Towered Churches”
Round towered churches are very much a feature of East Anglia particularly in the Waveney Valley area. We shall discuss their origins, how and why they were built and their age.
Wednesday 11th December at 7.30pm:-
“Watermills of the Waveney” by Trevor Scott.
Trevor talks about his project investigating the history of the many mills, lost and still present.
Friday 13th December - Xmas bash TBA
Join us for Refreshments and experience the entertainment from "Rough at the Edges".
